Blog:
Ok, now I am going to write about that experience. It was awesome. I would like to say that I feel that even though I knew my friends for three weeks, it feels like they are a part of your family. I learned so many things about politics and the politicians themselves (Krazy K..., inside joke but I am not giving the politicians name). I saw the passing of the bill which saw the banning of the international sale of monkeys (?). Oh yeah, and now I want to move to a city. That was really cool, being essentially on your own for three weeks. Quick side note, thanks to my dad and my grandparents for transporting me to and from DC. And thanks to both sides of my family for supporting me when I actually NEEDED it. Ok, that's done, I really needed to say that. What now? Ok, so here is the outlook. A) We pound the phones to start some legislation, that means you too, everybody and their mothers, brothers, fathers, and sisters (felt like mixing up the order). B) I am trying to go back up there for my Spring Semester, pray for me. C) I don't really know, keep on keeping on I guess. Part C aside, I have two main goals. Primarily, I would like to get some more legislation started in GA, so lets. Part B, well, yeah. It was just a lot of fun. And really cool to be on the floor of house of representatives. Plus, when they aren't in session on Friday, we got to sit in the chairs that our congressmen and women sit in. Also, I got to hit the button to vote on a bill, thanks to a congressman. That was a really cool experience. But honestly, after running all over the house side of the capitol and its 3 (or four, depending on if you count the Ford House Office Building) office buildings, I am really tired of that place. Honestly, whoever planned out the Rayburn Office Building really didn't like pages or something, because it is a pain to navigate. Also, if you go to the capitol, eat in the basement of Cannon. It looks like a hole in the wall, but it has some really good burgers. I like food a lot, especially bbq, and DC does not have any. That was really random, oh well. Also, sorry about some people who tried to email me at bill@billsarena.com. We moved hosts and I can't get that email address to work just yet. I am waiting for my dad to get off work (he works 23/7, almost. I didn't have a typo). So yeah. I am sure I have like 200 emails in there, yay... Alright, I am going to go find something to do and plan something with my friends I haven't seen for a month. Peace out...
